      The goalThe student should be familiar with contemporary principles and methods used in the analysis of animal health control and in successfully managing and operating of veterinary practice.
      The outcomeAfter attended courses and passing the exam, the student will be able to make the right decisions when opening and running a successful veterinary practice, and to apply appropriate measures and interventions in the control of animal health.

      Contents of lecturesApplication management in veterinary medicine. Basic functions of management. Veterinary practice, in terms of market competition. The use of certain tools and methods in strategic analysis. Managing the market for veterinary services - services portfolio, financing of veterinary services, pricing. The ratio of veterinarians and practices to the client, patient and client satisfaction rating.
