    The goalIntroduction in the reproductive management of domestic animals and health protection of farm animals - cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, etc.
    The outcomeCapacity to work and plan reproduction on farms, control of reproduction and animal health and organization of veterinary practice in farm conditions of keeping and exploitation of animals.
    Contents
    Contents of lecturesReproductive physiology in farm animals, oestrus cycle, induction and synchronization of oestrus, artificial insemination and embryotransfer. Diagnosis of pregnancy in farm animals, influence of nutrition and health status on reproductive status in farm animals, analysis of reproductive parameters. Fertility. Pathophysiology in reproduction of farm animals and sterility. Diagnostic procedures and treatment of reproductive disorders in clinical practice. Reproductive management. Control of herd health. Biosecurity meaures in the breeding of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry.
    Contents of exercisesMonitoring the reproduction parameters in domestic mammals on farms, practical presentation and solving clinical cases of sterility, demonstration and work on solving various clinical cases of diseased animals.

    Methods of teachingTeaching methods: Theoretical teaching with interactive learning, using audio-visual methods (PowerPoint presentations, films), practical exercises in healthy and sick animals and practical work at the Clinic for reproduction, fertility and AI, as well as on farms of cows , sheep and pigs.
