| The goal | Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of pathology and therapy of equine diseases as well as knowledge and skills that are important for direct introduction in to the clinical praxis and autonomous solving the most frequent problems in common clinical praxis. | |||
| The outcome | Students should be able to know the etiology and pathogenesis of equine diseases, to understand the disease mechanisms, to perform clinical examination and to know the diagnosis and to suggest the adequate therapy, to approach and to restrain a horse, to apply drugs in an appropriate way, to perform rectal examination and probing of the stomach, and to perform urinary tract catheterization. | |||
