    The goalStudent has to become informed in speciphic demands of rearing, housing and care of different farm animal species, i.e. dairy and meat type cattle, pigs, sheep, goats and poultry.
    The outcomeStudent has to obtain knowledge related to fundamentals of rearing, keeping and care of cattle, sheep, goat, pig and poultry and to adopt the knowledge on production demands of different categories of each farm animal species

    Contents of lecturesBasic principles of rearing, housing and nursing of dairy cattle (2); Cow milking and milk quality management (2); Basic principles of rearing, housing and nursing of meet type cattle (2); Basic principles of rearing, housing and nursing of pigs (2); Basic principles of rearing, housing and nursing of sheep and goats (2). Basic principles of rearing, housing and nursing of poultry (2); Hoof hygiene and care (1); Management of the farm facilities and health control of farm animals (1).
    Contents of exercisesOn farm training in practical skills necessary for handling and managing of farm animals: cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry, i.e. feeding, caring and nursing, milking and preventive measures included in health management.
