| The goal | Learning of theory and practice of effects and hygienic importance of the basic ecological factors that influence animal health and productivity. Learning of importance of standard hygienic construction of animal housing and the effects of housing and farm practice on health and production of animals. | |||
| The outcome | Student has to understand and apply knowledges of basic eco-factors and fundamentals on construction of animal housings. Student has to be able to apply the acquainted knowledge in aim to improve welfare, health status, prevent occurrence of technopaties, injuries and to increase productivity on farm. | |||

| Contents of lectures | 1. Definition, thematic composition and application of animal hygiene; (1). 2. Introduction into fundamentals of environmental hygiene and the importance of basic hygienic factors. Evaluation of the effects of hygiene of air, ground and water supply on health, well-being and productivity of animals (6). 3. Fundamentals of bioclimatology (4). | Contents of exercises | 1. Evaluation and estimation of air hygienic score (4). 2. Evaluation and estimation of hygienic score of water supply (4). 3. Visit to drinking water conditioning plant - water factory (2). Evaluation of ground hygiene and estimation of hygienic score of grounds (2). 5.
