    The goalGetting familiar with topographic anatomy, organs and their in situ positions, with the aim of acquiring students with knowledge sufficient for clinical subjects and clinical problematic
    The outcomeStudent should learn topographic position of pectoral, abdominal and pelvic cavity organs of horse, cattle, sheep, goat, pig, dog and cat, vascularisation and inervation of extremity, head, neck and organs, for the purpose of easier overcoming problematic of animal clinical pathology.

    Contents of lecturesTheoretical classes: Body region; Topography of the chest; Topography of the abdominal cavity of the horse; Topography of the abdominal cavity of large and small ruminants; Topography of the abdominal cavity of pigs. Topography of the abdominal cavity of dogs; Topography of the pelvic cavity; Topography of the limbs; Topography of the head; Topography of the neck.
    Contents of exercisesPractical teaching : Exercises on slides and models fully follow the theoretical lessons: Regions of the body; the body cavity and serosa; The topography of the thoracic cavity; Topography of the abdominal cavity of the horse; Topography of the abdominal cavity, large and small ruminants; Topography of the abdominal cavity of pigs; Topography of the abdominal cavity of dogs; The topography of the pelvic cavity; Topography of the extremity; Topography of the head; Topography of the neck.

    Methods of teachingTheoretical lectures with interactive learning, using audio-visual methods (Power Point presentations). Practical lectures conducted using pictures, fresh and clay models, as well as finished models preserved in formalin.
