    The goalGaining knowledge/skills which enable independent use of expert scientific literature and oral and written communication
    The outcomeThe student should master basic language structures and vocabulary in everyday speech, should learn how to use expert and scientific literature, translate texts from English into Serbian and vice versa, compose and translate business letters from English into Serbian and vice versa, and communicate adequately through speech and written media.

    Contents of lecturesOrtography and phonetics (5). Grammar (plural of nouns, present simple tense, past simple tense, article, irregular verbs, few, a few, can, present perfect tense, possessive case, comparison of adjectives, future tense, prepositions, question tags, past perfect tense, some, any, the imperative, pronouns, since, for, time clauses, possessive pronouns & adjectives, adverb order, indirect speech, if clauses, the gerund, the conditional, relative sentence, the passive voice) (10). Lexicology (reading, reading comprehension, translation, vocabulary), English in Use (10). Business letters, using expert/scientific literature and the Internet (5)
