Introduction to the diagnostic methods and functional assays for testing and monitoring disorders of the endocrine system, interpretation of results hemogram, biochemical panel, urinalysis and feces, cytological analysis of tissue samples obtained by biopsy and aspiration.
The outcomeUpon successful completion of the course, students will gain the following knowledge and skills: 1) knowledge of the pathophysiological mechanisms of functional disorders of certain endocrine glands and tissues at the cellular and molecular level, 2) knowledge of the types and values of diagnostic methods and tests for assessment and monitoring disorders endocrine system, 3) the ability of differential diagnostic assessment of individual types of disorders and proper diagnosis.
